The ASL Teacher Collective was established to ensure that American Sign Language teachers have access to quality, applicable professional development options. Our goal is to equip educators with the skills, training, and mindset they need to rejuvenate their classrooms and provide their students at all education levels with a dynamic learning environment through ASL for teachers.

One day, while touring the missions of San Antonio, we realized we had a mission of our own: to bring high-quality professional development and support to American Sign Language teachers wherever the road might take us. We recognized that each of us brought valuable skills and experience, and that by combining our strengths, we could create meaningful opportunities to serve the ASL teaching community and enhance ASL for teachers. After several meetings, along with research and brainstorming, our collective was born.
